A Slate should feel lived in.
Pull in a torn magazine reference, a Polaroid, a video, a line of type, a texture you cannot stop thinking about. Tape one thought over another. Write across it. Leave the rough edges visible. Organize it only when organization helps the idea move.
It is not a folder pretending to be a canvas. It is the table, wall and black book where the work is still becoming itself.
